Need to freshen up your home? Paint is the perfect place to start! Plus, there is no better time to freshen up your home than during the summer months. Not only is summer a great time to paint, but choosing paint colors that represent summer is sure to make your home feel bright and cheery all year long. Behr with us here as we highlight some of our favorite 2020 paint colors.

The Best of Both Worlds (Blue/Green)

Who doesn’t love blue or green paint in their home? What about a color that can’t quite make up its mind ~ whether it’s blue or green? That color would be irresistible in my opinion, because you get the best of both worlds wrapped up into one paint. Dragonfly by Behr would be truly stunning in any room in your home. It would also work great as an accent wall or cabinetry color. I can visualize the cabinetry design now… Dragonfly painted island cabinetry with white painted base cabinetry. Wow, that would create the ultimate coastal kitchen design! Making it the perfect color for homes along Michigan’s lake shore or a beach home down South. What will be painted Dragonfly in your home?!?

Captivated by Warmth (Yellow)

Are you captivated by the warmth of this golden, yellow paint color yet? If the color doesn’t dazzle you maybe the name will ~ Charismatic by Behr. This color would be absolutely, charming in a bedroom, family room, kitchen, or you name it. Now just imagine, pairing Charismatic paint with either white or gray cabinetry in your kitchen. Family dinners would be a cheerful event! Charismatic paint is truly a winning color for any space in your home with that golden hue. Now the only question is… how many paint cans will you need?!?

Defend Your Home (Gray)

Looking for a safe, neutral paint color for your home? Well my friends, look no farther because Battleship Gray by Behr is ready to sail off to defend your home. Gray is always a good-looking color choice for any room. Battleship Gray is a nice neutral tone that will create harmony with accents of bright or bold colors. Now let’s paint a picture of a master bathroom with a Battleship Gray painted vanity, black quartz countertops, matte black hardware, and a marble tiled walk-in shower. How do you imagine using Battleship Gray in your home?!?

Blend In or Stand Out  (Green)

A paint color that has the ability to blend in, but could also stand out is quite the dynamic paint color. Back To Nature by Behr is exactly that color! This color’s superpower is the ability to bring a mixture of energy and serenity to any space. What an amazing choice for a home office, nursery, bathroom, or even kitchen cabinetry. Honestly a kitchen design that has Back To Nature painted cabinetry, white quartz countertops, subway tiled backsplash, and wood visual luxury vinyl flooring would be an envied kitchen design. This paint color has endless creative options, now what room(s) in your home will be sporting Back To Nature?!?

There are numerous Behr 2020 color choices for you to check out. We just listed some of our favorite paint colors. Be(hr) creative and have a blast freshening up the spaces in your home. Remember our designers are always here to help make your home GREAT, with paint!
