The Shower/Tub:

  • Dryer sheets
  • Dawn dish soap
  • Warm water

A great way to clean your shower/tub is with a dryer sheet. (yes, you heard that right) Dryer sheets work even better if you dip them into a bucket of soapy warm water. This will definitely make your shower/tub sparkle again!

***Tip ~ for an extra clean shower/tub, sprinkle baking soda in the tub first before wiping down with a dryer sheet.

The Toilet:

  • 3 cups of baking soda

Besides wiping down your toilet of dust and grime with your favorite cleaning spray. (We recommend a vinegar solution) You should also dump 3 cups of baking soda in the toilet tank. It will help continually clean the toilet when flushing, plus it helps with odor issues.

***Tip ~ make your toilet smell extra fresh by regularly pouring 1 cup of Dawn dish soap in your toilet bowl.

  • Dawn dish soap
  • Microfiber cloth
  • Hot or warm water

Not much of a hack, but this cleaning method will help keep your cabinets and countertops looking ageless by not ruining the finish or seal. After dusting, use Dawn dish soap and warm or hot water to wipe down your cabinets and countertops. Now your vanity looks brand new again!

So fresh, and so clean, clean is the ultimate goal for your home during Spring. And having the cleanest bathroom in town is definitely a bonus for family and friends. (and of course you too) Hopefully, these four cleaning hacks help make spring cleaning a little easier this year!
