Corian is a popular choice for countertops with many advantages. Created by DuPont, Corian has a solid, synthetic, nonporous surface that provides nearly seamless joints, is durable, and easy to clean.
Granite is a perennial choice for countertops. It is a natural stone and each piece comes in unique patterns and colors so no two countertops are alike. It is heat, scratch, and stain resistant, and can be sealed quickly and easily for a lifetime warranty against staining.
Today’s laminate countertops are inexpensive and beautiful, offering many colors to choose, and styles that resemble expensive granite or marble surfaces. Laminate countertops are very low maintenance. While stain- and scratch-resistant, they are vulnerable to heat damage.
Quartz countertops are harder than granite, with a nearly indestructible quality and a non-porous surface that is stain- and bacteria-resistant. Quartz is extremely low maintenance and cleaning requires no harsh chemicals or expensive cleaning products. Mild soap and water is all you need.
